Freddy Todd - Detroit, MI (1:15 - 2:30)

RELEASES ON: Simplify ll Car Crash Set ll Waveform Modulations ll Run Riot Record ll Daly City

Freddy Todd makes electronic music or dUbstep/GliTcH HoP/LazEr CrunK, if you wanna get fancy. He grew up on the drums and then moved to the piano/keys and guitar/bass. These combined skills offered his musical synergy to disperse in the electronic scene when he started producing on Fruity Loops Studio in 2004, as well as forming a band and channeling live music around the same time. Making a genre of its own, Freddy combines limitless genres from soul to hip hop to funk-slime to psychedelic rock to dub all in an electronic glitched out bass driven blender. His EP's include Ghost Dance Messiah (2009), Hallowz Eve (2009), iLLegaL summer 'stache (2010), Winter Soulstice (2011). Some are available for free download at http://freddytodd.bandcamp.com/ He also has two remix EP's titled Space 5 Penthouse: A Remix EP (2010), Can't Fathom This (2010). These, along with Ghost Dance Messiah, are available at www.addictech.com and iTunes. Freddy's mixes include Lick The Glitch Mix for Glitch.fm and Neon Kaliedoscope Mix for Grassroots California Mixtape stash. His first full length double disc 28 track LP was released on Simplify Records in January of 2011. Grab Neon Spectacle Operator here: http://www.addictech.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=67424 and on iTunes and Beatport.
